off to a great start....

It has been a great week so far, and it's only Tuesday!

We kicked off the week by celebrating our buddy Brooks construction style!

Here was our attempt at these cute kiddos in their hardhats.
Babies lined up always makes me giggle.

I learned you should always check the bag when your husband brings your baby to a party.
Her swimsuit and cover up sure were cute...but after that...AUBIE!?!

Libby and her buddy Finley

Libby, Finley and Milly had so much fun together

Our days have been full of super restful morning naps

A BIG DAY for the ol' Yukon

A new dining table we snagged on SUPER DUPER clearance

MORE restful, peaceful, quiet naps...

and finding comfy spots to catch a little sesame street

I hope your week is off to a great start!

the pool

I have wonderful Aunts. Each of them have been a blessing to my life and are apart of so many of my memories. I am thankful for my Aunts...and thankful it means Libby has fabulous GREAT Aunts.

While we were in Birmingham, some of our most fun outings were to see my Aunts. Gail had us over to visit her chickens, which I hate I don't have any pictures... and Bonnie had us over to swim!

Thank you Bonnie The Great for not only having us, but for taking these pictures!

birmingham

We were so thankful Stuart, Allison, Mo and Nelly moved to the lake this summer!
We loved getting to spend time and watch the cousins together.
We've decided. Baltimore is too far away!

Our little family took a little road trip to spend time with everyone.

One member of our family doesn't have nearly the room he used too, but he is still a good sport.

It was a HOT week, but the company could not be beat.

We sweat played at the park

tried to keep up with the big kids

cooled off with yummy popsicles

and rub a dub dub put THREE cousins in that tub

thanks to Mama J, the really big kids got to slip away for some fun together.

It's true...and this "good one" happens to be great.

Thank you Mama J for a fun night!

What a great week. It was such a treat to spend it with each of you.

9-0

Honey turned 90!
We had a wonderful lunch to celebrate him at the Spring House in Alexander City.

The birthday boy and his bride

When you are 90, you should have 90 candles...right? We thought so too.
The cake was literally on fire. Brave John. Next time we will just buy the "9" and the "0"

The aftermath. Wax. burned cake.

Luckily we had a back up cake and were ready for round 2.

Happy Birthday Honey! We love you.

from Honey...

"I am still reminiscing on my birthday party yesterday and thinking how fortunate I am to have a family like you. The Spring was an outstanding restaurant and I thoroughly enjoyed the barn visit. Our country barn, the number of horses and transporting vehicles were nothing to compare, yet there was a relationship there. Bonnie, I am sorry that I let your cake slip away. Better luck next time. Mo got the prize for entertaining us. Thanks again, to everyone for a great day. I especially enjoyed having my personal chauffeur.

Roy, Honey, etc."

big girl jammies

Monday night was a first for our Libby girl. She wore her first pair of two piece big girl jammies.
Libby loved her monkey ballerinas, but it sure did make this mama sad. WAY too grown up.
