Easter was even sweeter with Libby girl. She was so excited about her first Easter that she could not sleep...which made for a morning that was not exactly choreographed, but as my mom said
"welcome to holidays as a mother!" Despite our exhaustion we had a wonderful day full of family, food, egg hunts, celebration of our risen lord....and bunny ears.

Libby, it is so hard to believe last Easter we did not even know you! We loved you already and could not wait to meet you. We were SO excited to have just found out you are a girl! We could not wait to share this news with our family and made everyone play a game to find out if you were a boy or a girl!
Everyone had to pick an egg from one of the baskets...pink or purple if you thought you were a girl...blue or green if you thought you were a boy. One egg from the "correct" basket had a peep!
We were so excited when your great Aunt Gail picked the pink egg and opened it to find a pink peep announcing that you are a girl!!
We delighted in you before you were born!
